I was part of the Managed Services Team at MDSL where my main clients were banks and brokerage firms. My duties included managing their market data inventory in MDSL's Market Data Manager. I analysed their spend and also processed and reconciled invoices. My aim was to save money for my clients by checking that the end users were only paying for the services that they used and required.In order to help improve the MDM software, I did testing and collaborated with other departments within the company to make further improvements. I worked closely with my clients and provided them with information they required. I ran a range of reports for our clients using SQL, such as cost breakdown and accruals reports. I competed data uploads such as HR, Bloomberg SID and Thomson Reuters DACS. The vendors which I worked with on behalf of my clients include Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, CQG, Interactive Data and Fidessa.

For the summer of 2012 and 2013, I worked at J Salmon Ltd. I worked in a number of departments and rotated around the company. I spent the majority of my time in the finishing department where I was part of an important team within the company. My role was to package and finish off all the products, and take quality control checks to make sure all the products were made to the highest standards. The company has taught me good time management skills from having to meet deadlines, and also team building skills from working in groups.
