Current- Assist investment clients to reclaim over-withheld taxes on American Depository Receipts and Foreign Ordinary Shares by processing their Certificates of Residency (documents essential for reclaiming foreign tax.
- Manage a team of six employees, overseeing them in document processing, Certificate of Residency requests, client status updates and cross-department communications, ensuring timely task resolution
- Facilitated monthly meeting with contacts across several Financial Institutions to provide updates on the status of their client 's reclaims and answered any document related inquiries
- Coordinate with the IRS and foreign tax authorities via email, mail, fax, and phone calls to request, track, and obtain Certificates of Residency and other applicable forms on behalf of clients
- Host weekly check-in meetings with each direct report to ensure they understand both short-term and long-term goals for the company as well as their individual growth goals
- Actively coach and develop team members by requesting their input on reports and projects, providing feedback, and encouraging critical thinking on day-to-day processes
