I was recently elected to by my peers to be the course representative for the final year biomedical engineering cohort. Through this role I am able ensure my fellow course mates are being represented. I collect opinions and data from my course mates and present my finding to the NTU department of engineering. I am able to lead and provide positive changes to my course, school and university as a whole by participating in decision making on the improvement the teaching experience and student life

I am proud to be able to say I am a committee member of the Engineers without Borders NTU chapter. As the treasurer of this society I manage the society funds, ensure all invoices are signed ad paid in a timely manner, present money making ideas and ensure the club remains financially stable throughout the year.Engineers Without Borders is an organisation that aims to inspire future generations to think and materialise solutions to ensuring the future of engineering is sustainable. The NTU EWB chapter achieves this by providing learning exposure, career opportunities for students in the engineering field all while expanding social exposure.This is done by organising STEM outreach workshops, design challenges, projects and networking events with guest speaker.The overall aim of our society is to work towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) whilst encouraging and enabling students to create practical solutions to drive real-world change within the engineering industry.

Unitemps offers temporary, permanent, graduate & internship job roles within universities & businesses across the UK. Unitemps offers a scheme called Students in Classrooms where university students can work in a struggling primary school, I was placed at Huntingdon Academy. I was asked to continue at the school after my designated time with Unitemps.Key Responsibilities• Responsible for the safety of students in classroom, halls, and playgrounds ensuring all procedures were being followed.• Organising teaching materials• Assisting staff in daily teaching activities • The individual running of small group intervention sessions to improve academic ability in maths and literacy.
