I wrote original stories and breaking news for KGW.com and the KGW News app while collaborating with a team of digital journalists. I was tasked with communicating with dozens of people including news reporters, photographers, assignment editors and video editors every day. My other responsibilities included editing stories written by reporters, streaming live events, hosting in-studio live chats, writing push notifications and sharing stories on social media.

I wrote original reports, breaking news and developing stories for KATU.com. I also regularly updated the website's home page and used social media to share stories and breaking news. I worked with a team of digital journalists and regularly communicated with people across all teams in the news department.

I wrote and produced the morning and 5 p.m. newscasts at KVAL-TV. As a producer, I was responsible for communicating with everyone in the news and production departments while organizing and writing a daily newscast on deadline.
