Experience in designing Carbon Composite structures/enclosures where detail fabrication processes and tooling is required. Additionally, I manage project schedules to identify critical path in support of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Confer with other technical leads concerning product design and integration to ensure that the project at hand meets and exceed customer’s requirements. Participated in coordinating with vendors to determine product specifications flown down from Procurement Control Drawings and Source Control Drawings and assist in evaluating quotes where cost estimates for budget targets, production and lead times are critical. Strong Mechanical Design experience developing electromechanical enclosures, rotating mechanisms, carbon-composite light weight chassis and dip-brazed aluminum structures used for electronic packaging with EMI/HEMP, Environmental & Biological shielding requirements.Conducted design reviews, interface evaluations, assembly process and generated documentation for CM controlled releases and ECO implementation. Responsibilities include planning schedules, developing Earned Value reports and performance tracking evaluations for the design team. Experience creating Statement Of Work for procurement of parts and services.
