Summer 2024: Led an experiment on weed adaptation in urban environments examining responses to elevated soil salt content, maintaining experimental protocols and caring for over 700 plants.Summer 2023: Led a common garden experiment examining microevolution in urban weeds, finding significant phenotypic differences in individuals from different cities.Summer 2022: Member of research team conducting survey cataloging neighborhood plants to examine the role that socioeconomic factors such as race and income play in the composition of private urban yards. Co-led development of insect trapping procedure for the above survey.Performed lab tasks including DNA extractions, gel electrophoresis, and biomass processing.

Work in the undergraduate admissions department to provide information about university admissions and the application process, and direct potential applicants to proper resources to assist in the admissions process.

Examined behavior patterns in Eptesicus fuscus, utilizing SASLab Pro, BORIS, and VideoPad Pro, to compare interactions with familiar vs. unfamiliar individuals across 25 trials and establish call-behavior associations. This involved spectrographic analysis of hundreds of bat calls, identifying patterns of increased aggression between bats from the same colony compared to bats from different colonies.

Worked with field leaders in obesity research at The Cleveland Clinic to catalog the experiences of worldwide physicians with various obesity medications, facilitated project approval by Cleveland Clinic internal review board by transcribing interviews and organizing data.
