(DCI) to gauge business interest in forming a special financing district in Downtown Frederick. o Negotiated incentives with multiple businesses including TORO Robotics and Aqua-Hot. o Established an ongoing business retention program to build and maintain trust with the Business community including strategies for business communication, business roundtables, improved transparency, business engagement training for internal town departments, and other activities. o Secured CDBG funding from Weld County for the construction of the Brigit’s Village Low-income multigenerational community. o Served on the Town of Frederick Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. o Develops, oversees, and makes changes to the Economic Development Budget. o Currently pursuing EDFP Certification through the National Development Council.

Provide economic development project management roles within the City Manager’s Office of Business Development. Work directly with City Council on economic development and community outreach projects. Key Accomplishments/Projectso Facilitated the Redevelopment of several prominent Brownfields sites, including a Super Fund site. o Helped Jim Boys Tacos, Farmer Boys Restaurant, Subaru, A Street Partners, and other businesses navigate development processes and obtain necessary entitlements. o Manage Huntington Beach housing programs including housing rehab programs, inclusionary Income programs, and first-time home buyer programs.o Served as Project Manager with Visit Huntington Beach to create and complete a citywide wayfinding revitalization project.o Grew film permitting program from issuing fewer than 60 permits a year to issuing 120 permits a year and tripling film permit revenues. Projects include: Master Chef, Rosewood, Lucifer, Ballers, Nike, and others.o Work collaboratively with the City's "Homeless Task Force" to make contact with and assist City homeless population with finding housing and treatment options. o Business Development representative on several City committees including the Special Events Committee and the Downtown Business Improvement District (BID). o Managed all steps of RFP and contract negotiation process for all city concessions. o Prepare and issue Subordination Agreements for City inclusionary properties. o Created custom online film permitting program collaboratively with Apply4 Technologies.o Created and presented data analysis on the economic impact of the Huntington Beach Airshow to Council. o Project Manager for Huntington Beach’s response to the Amazon HQ2 Proposal.

Key Accomplishments/Projects• Data Preparation and Analysiso Examined the fiscal impact of the Beach/Edinger Specific plan in regards to city revenues.o Managed and condensed spreadsheet containing leases held by the City for the incorporation into a new Real Estate Module.o Assisted in the Development of a Real Estate Module for 100 City-owned properties, making up a portfolio worth over one million dollars. • Agreement Review/Modificationo Drafted Request for Proposal for downtown Pedi-cab service, Sports Complex Concessions, and Wayfinding Consulting Services.o Worked with Lessee of Dwight’s and Jack’s Inc. for the negotiations involving the renewal of the lease for Jack’s Beach Concessions. o Drafted agreement outline for the Huntington Beach Equestrian Center to house the Huntington Beach Police Department’s Mounted unit. o Reviewed agreements for the Poseidon Desalinization Plant and presented the policy implications for potential City revenue sources.• Research Projectso Assisted in the creation of the Long Range Property Management Plan of Successor Agency properties worth an estimated $11 Million that was approved by the State Department of Finance.o Surveyed Commercial façade rehab programs throughout the state and drafted a Façade Rehab Program for the City.o Facilitated the revival of the Huntington Beach Executive Business Roundtable, with its first meeting planned in July, 2015.o Reviewed the downtown parking master plan to consider changes to improve parking in the downtown areas of the City. o Collected feedback and helped with the drafting the 5-year economic development strategy for the City.o Conducted research on various fair housing grants/ tenant based rental assistance programs.o Responsible for producing an inventory of shopping centers throughout the City to identify potential façade improvement opportunities.
