I led the transformation of radio station 4BC, into the market leader of local programming after a decade of syndicating from Sydney's 2GB. Additionally, I was part of the executive team at Nine, collaborating with senior leaders across all of Nine's platforms in Queensland.Key Achievements:Implemented 4BC's Live and Local Strategy: Increased local content from 1 hour to 54 hours per week.Rebuilt 4BC: Led the transformation from the least local radio station in market to the most continuous local content within 3 years. In doing so, expanded the head count from 10 to 40 staff members.Audience Growth: Achieved the highest audience size ever recorded for 4BC (cumulative), with a 76% year-on-year increase in 2022.Breakfast Show Success: Grew the breakfast show audience to the highest level in 14 years, with a 20% increase between radio surveys in 2022.Frequency Change Project: Successfully led the project to switch frequencies from 1116AM to 882AM, enhancing the listening experience and expanding the radio footprint.Employee Satisfaction: Achieved a 10% higher score than the company average on annual employee satisfaction surveys, the highest score among all radio offices nationally.Emergency Response Leadership: Directed 4BC's emergency response to the Brisbane & South East Queensland floods in 2022.
