Hello! I'm Max, a University of Alberta alumni and electrical engineer-in-training working in the consulting field. In my free time, you can find me rock climbing, snowboarding, or playing the piano. Apart from that, I have a passion for integrated circuits and computer hardware, but also have experience programming. I have about 2 years' worth of experience working for an electrical consulting firm in the power and distribution industry. Typical activities included designing the lighting, power, and fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial buildings.My university capstone project required my team and I to build a quadcopter drone and remote controller using our client's proprietary microprocessor. To complete this, I engaged in planning out the desired specifications, researching integrated circuit components for compatibility, drafting schematics and PCB designs, soldering PCBs, and hardware testing. At university, my latest classes gave me knowledge around transistor characteristics and operation, integrated circuit design, FPGA programming and testing, hardware design languages and other programming languages.
