I am 23 years of age, and just recently received a degree from Alma College: Bachelor of Science in biology. This has given me education in many areas of biology, as well as experience in a laboratory setting. Although there may be various laboratory techniques that I have not learned yet, I am very quick to learn and am always interested and eager to practice a new procedure. However, my many college laboratory courses have given me knowledge of basic laboratory procedures. I have become proficient at carrying out projects in a scientific manner: Performing tests precisely and accurately, recording and analyzing data, and compiling results in a clear and presentable manner. My time in these courses has made me quite eager to attain a laboratory position in an interesting area of scientific research. This would be a great opportunity for me to begin a career in biological studies. I am fit for a position in the sciences because I have a great work ethic, attention to detail, and a strong interest in a wide array of research.
