I am a passionate local Columbus automotive industry and community member, a volunteer automotive instructor, a church leader, and a full-time student at OSU.I have over ten years of experience in the industry as a professional automotive technician. For three of these years, I managed Central Ohio Youth for Christ's social enterprise Equip Auto Sales (formally, YFC Wheels and Hirelevel Auto). Throughout this, I piloted the enterprise from a struggling business to a financially stable and viable entity. During this time, I oversaw and executed the expansion of the enterprise involving a change of location to a massive warehouse space redeployed for both Equip Auto Sales and the Equip Skills Center used for automotive vocational education.As an automotive technician, transitioning to a business leader accountable to Central Ohio Youth for Christ has taught me an abundance about servant leadership, humility, failure, relationships, accountability, and pushing through the demanding tasks necessary for an organization to thrive.I am going on over five+ years of volunteer automotive instruction for the Equip Skills Center, imparting my automotive skills to socio-economically struggling youth in Columbus to provide a dignified career path for a successful future generation. Currently, I am at The Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University to pursue BSBA of Business Administration specializing in Operations Management.
