My day to day duties include managing IT services for dental offices. This can include: - Live customer support chat, email, and phone lines for on-demand client assistance- Hybrid management and installation of network equipment including: switches, routers/gateways, modems, in-wall network cabling and termination, endpoint network solutions (NIC replacement, APs), NASs, and other infrastructure critical to networks such as APCs, equipment placement, and conscious cable management.- Installation and imaging of PCs used in specialized roles for dental office reception, consultation, hygiene, and surgery. This includes familiarizing myself with industry leading systems for practice management, imaging, payments services, and more- Keeping up to date with industry compliant standards for my field such as HIPAA and PCI DSS.- Account management of Windows credentials, O365 accounts, domain information such as DNS records and registration, phone systems, and other services needed on a per-client basis- Documenting networks, hardware, software, file system structures, setup procedures, business procedures, and other technical information for the company and per client/office
