Hi, Im Max Rushton. Projects and Events Coordinator at HS2.Thinking differently is how I work.I work as part of the Projects and Events team looking into getting the word of HS2 out, and how that can be done.I hit the ground running with my career by supporting in a multitude of projects including the “Community Voices” podcast and the 2021 Summer Roadshow by managing the staffing and crew of 15 venues across the country.I’ve been in contact with various different members of the company to know their stories and experiences to enhance my own, from partnering organisations to head of directorates and even the CEO. I have also worked through these projects with partnering companies, including Strata, Reby Media and the various HS2 contractors (BBV, LM and SCS)Looking at new mediums has led me to lead on producing 2 full podcast series titled “How to Build a Railway” and “Learning Legacy Podcast”. Each looked into the history of the HS2 project, what the industry has learned and all told by those on the ground and seeing the changes happen.I've studied at Chester University, where I have gained great experience of the world of radio. From basic station operation to being the stations music and general manager.
