Focus on bigdata(Apache Hadoop, spark) and hbase performance tuning and development demo with customer, such as Meituan, Alibaba, Microsoft, Google, Ebay, etc.(1)Focus on ThunderX2/ThunderX3 ARMv8 server processor performance evaluation, profile analysis. use perf-map-agent, FlameGraph and async-profiler tools to get java and c symbol function cost, and further to analysis Hadoop and spark performance bottleneck, and use perf tool to collect core counter, pmu, pcie, and sw register to further analysis processor bottleneck and predicting next generation processor performance.(2) Used Jenkins tool to run Hadoop / spark case automatically, and find out the performance of the best configuration. Used shell script programming more than 3000 lines of code.(3) Completed customer Google projects Hbase performance evaluate and output analysis result report for Thunderx2; and get a better performance data for Thunderx2. Two clients (total 8 ycsb processes) can be used to fill the CPU utilization rate of the server side(ThunderX2/ThunderX3), with modified the HBase parameters.(4)Familiarity and deep understanding the Hadoop-2.7.1 map, collect, spill, combine; shuffle, merge, sort, reduce source codes.(9)Familiarity and deep understanding the Spark-2.2.0 source codes.(5)Done SparkRDMA function and performance evaluation on ARMv8 server processor cluster with Mellanox MT27700 Family [ConnectX-4] 40G network card(ROCE mode) together with Mellanox engineers; HXT ARMv8 processor server can be declared to support big data RDMA.
