I was the Assistant Editor of UW Bothell's Husky Herald Newspaper. Husky Herald is a part of UWB Student Media and functions as a partnership SEA (Student Engagement and Activities). Duties include: Developing tools to recruit and manage contributors, writing articles, editing articles for grammar and spelling, designing and editing issues within Adobe inDesign, developing marketing for the issues and events. Along with the EIC, in the 2022-2023 year, we completely re-structured the procedures and organization of the Husky Herald. I was also involved in preparing our yearly funding presentation and application.As part of SEA, we also develop on-campus event programming. This includes writing and contributor workshops, "Storytime with Student Media", and our flagship, quarterly Open Mic Night.

Duties include: Opening and closing the store, running the store on the manager’s days off, keeping up with stocking and supplies the store needs, customer de-escalation, handling bank and change runs, and training new employees.
