As a Quantitative Research Intern within the eFX department, I was tasked with gaining insights from the raw data available to me. This led to the development of algorithms utilising unsupervised ML clustering techniques as well as detailed, client specific insights allowing the business to more effectively target clients and open new potential avenues for business.

6 months’ placement at Rheon Labs, in the role of Junior Design Developer, helping to design, manufacture, test and analyse new prototype protection for industries including sports and defence. This led to my development of a brand-new prototyping method allowing the production of hundreds of geometries to take place.

As in intern I was put in charge of seeking out and generating a list of potential new members for the MTA to approach, breaking them down by company size and revenue stream. In the 2 month period I found over 1000 companies for the mta to approach.

As an intern in the Quantitative Analysis and Trading Department, I was given the tasks of gathering and preparing tic data and stock price information for the team to use. This culminated in my development of a coding script that web scraped 20 years of information of a website, collected and sorted said data into excel sheets and sent the fully sorted data to my boss via email.
