Supplier Quality Management

Interact with the assigned suppliers in Asia through pre-shipment inspections, follow-up visits, audits or various meetings necessary to the achievement of the objectives. (Plastic parts, sheet metal and CNC machining metal parts, rubber parts, Silicon membranes, PCB/FCB/PCBA/FCA, Connector, Wire, Cable, Touch panel, Displays, etc.)Participate actively in the selection, development, assessment and qualification of suppliers located in Asia. Collaborate closely with the Suppliers Quality Specialist - Canada in the achievement of results and the implementation of improvement plans.Support the buyers, project manager, Engineering, and other GGI/E2IP’s internal clients communicating with the assigned suppliers. (PPAP, fine tuning process of the firmware for the Touch Panel, IQ, OQ, PQ process for medical parts, new project support, etc.)Generate appropriates actions necessary to the assigned supplier’s achievement of quality objectives. (For Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Industrial, Defense, Transportation, etc.).Communicate in writing the requests, recommendations or observations related to quality to current and potential suppliers, in order to respond effectively to the needs of Supply Chain of GGI / E2IP and eliminate defects and issues at the source.Handle the review of assessments of performance with the assigned suppliers and coordinate the implementation of the improvement plans.
