Responsible for the delivery of tasks related to the strategic activities of the skyguide operations department, providing support for the Key Account Management activities and managing skyguide's free route airspace implementation project.

Management of a team delivering of skyguide's core airspace and PANS-OPS services requiring close collaboration with the Swiss airspace and regulatory authority, the Swiss Air Force, the airspace users as well as the national and international partners.

Project manager for Airservices’ Operational Risk Baseline Project, a project aimed at developing unit safety cases and mapping the organisations operational risk baseline using the ‘bow tie’ methodology. The aim of this project was to better identify and understand the organisation’s risk profile, interfaces between organisational units and risk control.

Provide specialist advice and mentoring in safety management practices and operational risk management to ATM managers and project managers, and assist with the development of safety documentation to satisfy both internal and regulatory compliance requirements.

National Operational Support and Improvements was responsible for the development and implementation of air traffic management related projects. My role was to provide safety support and analysis for change management activities and to assure compliance with the organisation’s safety management system and the obligations imposed by the regulatory framework.

My role with this project was National Safety Coordinator with the overall responsibility for ensuring proper safety analyses of the changes were conducted, that the organisations safety management system was complied with and that the documentation for the aviation safety regulator was properly prepared.

• This role involved the ongoing training of new air traffic control personnel for the initial issue of an ATC licences and provided ongoing training support to operational ATC personnel. The following tasks were involved:
• Development of competency based training syllabus, theory lessons and simulator exercises
• Delivery of refresher training modules
• Performance Assessment Monitoring to ensure required competencies achieved

This role involved the operational supervision of, and provided operational support to a team of operational air traffic controllers.

This role involved the management of first aid training instructors and their accreditation, the management of training course delivery and compliance with the legislative requirements for first aid training and occupational health and safety.
