I worked on a project with my previous employer that involved looking at an alternative route to market for magazine titles taken on subscription. One of my tasks was to gather the performance data of delivery personnel who were delivering our products in various areas, store it, calculate how they are performing against model expectations and identify performance trends, improvements and issues. I also undertook evaluation, calculation and analysis of various tariffs and costing models to compare best value for service and identified a potential £85k year-on-year saving for the business. I delivered projects on time at cost or better, increased output and efficiency and maintained or improved upon customer service. I am always looking for opportunities to improve upon existing software-led solutions and working practices and have designed many Excel-based tools to assist my team and improve efficiency in the wider community.
