Aimed to improve automatic skill profiling by creating a synthetic labeled dataset using Large Language Models (LLMs). The dataset contains real data, but is annotated using LLMs, and serves as a supervised training set to improve current state-of-the-art skill extraction models. My work proposes a cost-effective, interpretable chain of prompts pipeline to extract skills from real job ad sentences. It outperformed previous work in synthetic dataset generation.
