As the climbing instructor, I planned and executed rock and tree climbing activities throughout the summer for children with primary diagnoses of ASD and ADHD. Additionally, I was a professional role model to children with developmental delays by modeling appropriate social behavior. Our rock climbing trips took place at rock faces near the camp, as well.

As an intern, I was paired with a child diagnosed with ASD in a local community school. I collaborated with an applied behavioral analyst, as well as the child's teachers and parents to create a behavioral intervention which decreased maladaptive behaviors while promoting prosocial skills and increasing functional skills.
