As part of the joint venture building the first Organic Resources Recovery Centre (ORRC) in Hong Kong:• Under the commissioning manager: led the engineer teams (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control); planned and implemented the testing and commissioning (T&C) of various systems (e.g. wastewater treatment, dewatering, air treatment); ensured safety; reported and liaised with the client; managed troubleshooting;

• Designed detailed process requirement for construction (mechanical & electrical) and for programming. Main deliverables: Complete process functional description including advanced interlock tables, datasheets, pipes sizing, PFD and P&ID updates• Calculated process flow and mass balance (e.g. waste, water, air, energy)Main achievement: Exhaustive plant simulation with Excel• Supported the procurement team, construction team and programmersMain deliverables: Devices lists, requests for quotation, block diagrams, program FAT

• Project Manager for the construction of an algae composting plant worth 5.3 million euros: selected the contractor through a call for bids; monitored the construction; supervised the T&C; issued reports for government subvention• Produced a detailed project proposal (incl. Environmental Impact Assessment, Standard Operating Procedures, Budget) to the French national authority to operate a waste facility (17 hectares, 16 activities)• Applied regulations on the site; liaised with the French environmental police; trained co-workers; conducted air and water measurements• Engineering in waste management: operated a Sludge composting plant; improved composting technics (e.g. traceability, products quality, air depollution); monitored maintenance operations; acquired new machines; designed two civic amenity centres• Engineering in water treatment: calculated inputs in the design of a sewage treatment plant; assessed the impact on a preserved nature area under the water quality law
