Senior Site Reliability Engineer
CurrentPrimarily responsible for the infrastructure that powers the cloud functionality ofthe Sketch suite of applications for Mac and iOS.In my time at Sketch I've led several projects to improve team productivity andservice reliability, including:- Introducing a full GitOps workflow (Terraform, Packer, etc.) to the SRE team toreduce conflicts and improve collaboration.- Overhauling our ECS based platform to support isolated developerenvironments, bring stability to deployments, and allow for infrastructureexperimentation.- Migrated a co-located fleet of hand-managed macOS infrastructure to AWS M1instances with automated image provisioning to improve stability and reducemaintenance overhead at scale.- Built internal tooling to allow developer teams to manage the lifecycle of theirdeployments from its first test environment through to production.- Worked with developer teams to encourage better practices for testing, CI/CD,and reliability.
