As the Senior Systems Administrator over VMware, I provided support for 200+ ESX hosts and 2000+ virtual machines for the largest Healthcare Provider in the Southeast. Upgraded the virtual infrastructure from vSphere 5 to vSphere 6. Utilized SRM to manage DR redundancy for Tier 1 applications. Assisted in designing and deploying the Horizon 6 VDI desktop environment that supports 4000+ users. Designed a DFS file system to support user data, departmental data, application data and confidential data. Worked on implementing vIDM as new front end web portal for all external access. Managed and maintained the System Administrator team's Sharepoint functions as well as designed workflows through InfoPath for more automated processing of simple requests. Managed and maintained 15+ HP C7000 enclosures with 50+ HP BL460 blades, mostly gen8 and gen9, including Virtual connect configurations and firmware updates. Implemented an entire 3 chassis upgrade in preparation for an Epic upgrade with no downtime to the users.

As the VMware Administrator, I've worked with equipment from as far back as first-gen Compaq servers to gen 9 HP blades and chassis. Vast experience with Enterprise level virtual infrastructures and responsible for its general performance, uptime and all things maintenance for 160+ ESXi hosts and the 1000+ VMs running in a full HA environment. Responsible for server hardware including c7000 chassis and blade maintenance as well as rack-mounted servers, both on-site at the datacenter and ESXi hosts in 20+ remote locations across the US. Experience with Windows Server troubleshooting from 2003 to 2012. Well versed in Citrix Application publishing and deployment, XenServer, Desktop publishing with XenApp, and Citrix infrastructure troubleshooting. Responsible for maintaining backups of virtual infrastructure and inventorying using Veeam B&R, NLYTE and HP SIM.
