Life Insurance is the reason that I side stepped my accounting journey and embark into insurance industry. In this business segment, I am trained in risk and wealth management/implementation for different life stages and unpredictable events. Mid point of my career, I advanced into management role where I learn the ropes of leadership and mentoring rookies in their journey to sustainable success. Employee Benefits is a fulfilling experience for me. I was blessed to be given an opportunity to work on a first major account with absolutely zero experience during my early days. It was very tough learning to understand the terms, conditions, exclusions, jargon, benefits designs, loss ratio, utilization trend, underwriting concerns, pricing and finally placement. Where i am right now, proven expertise are at my disposal, we have dedicated team to advise on Employee Assistance Program, Flex Benefits, Wellness at Workplace and Holistic Account Management. General Insurance is an amazing experience to keep on building. This is a very interesting business segment where there are many business and unique risks to study, constructing suitable cover with extended benefits and customized exclusions. Personally I have great passion in understanding the technicality of pricing mechanism, underwriting protocols, claims handling and identifying niche selling points. Possessing 3 segments of insurance experience indeed is a blessing to me and I look forward to being a blessing to you.
