Max is an international tax and business consulting partner with over 30 years of experience. He is a lead member of Moss Adams LLP International Services Group (ISG), and is currently a member of the Firm’s ISG Executive Committee. Recently for eight years, Max was a Firm delegate to the International Annual World Conference of its international affiliation. Max frequently consults with tax, legal, immigration and other business professionals in the U.S. and from foreign countries on a wide array of U.S. domestic, cross-border and international tax and business consulting matters.Max headed up the tax practice in Moss Adams' Bellingham, Washington office for over 20 years. He is responsible for the business and tax planning and compliance for a variety of business organizations. Max is a frequent speaker on tax and business strategies of establishing and continuing business operations, and is also an author of international tax seminar materials and information brochures.Specialties: Primarily his experience is associated with cross-border and international taxation matters revolving around consultation about the proposed structuring of complex business organizations including inbound and outbound transactions, and reorganizations to coordinate and make efficient the tax consequences in both the U.S. and the particular foreign country. These consultations significantly involve both entity level planning as well as individual planning for company executives and personnel.
