As the founding Director of the Market and Marketing Intelligence and Competitive Intelligence functions at a number of leading private and public sector organizations, Max has been responsible for developing the analyses, research, knowledge products and processes and managed the tactical and operational projects needed to bring his recommendations to fruition.Most recently, Max has been the Founding Director of the marketing technology and insights function at Great Expressions Dental Centers brought in by a new Executive Team to provide methodologically-rigorous knowledge-based data and research-driven insights, guidance, and implementation of new corporate strategy and marketing positioning, branding and campaigns necessary to spearhead a revolution in consumer-oriented dentistry based on unique research-based insights into how dental services differ markedly from both traditional retail and traditional health-care.Max has over 25 years of industry-leading strategy and analysis and marketing technology and insight experience with leading organizations including General Dynamics, Lucent Technologies, the White House National Space Council, NASA and the RAND Corporation; and has started two companies including Paragon Space Development Corporation which has just celebrated its 25th successful anniversary. Max received his BA in Behavioral Science from the University of Chicago; his MA in Science, Technology & Policy at George Washington University; and his doctoral training in Policy Analysis from the RAND Graduate School. He has authored numerous articles, white papers, studies and conference presentations, and has been on and led numerous trade and industry association committees.
