Hi! I’m Max Porter, a biosystems engineering and horticulture student at Auburn University.In the classroom, I focus on environmental problem solving along with the technical side of plant development. Outside of the classroom I work with the university’s horticulture department to keep the Rane Culinary Science Center’s rooftop gardens looking beautiful, and also assist with other tasks as needed by the department. In the future, I would love to combine my engineering and horticulture background in a position working with both controlled environment and precision agriculture.
