At this internship we were tasked with several responsibilities throughout the summer. Such tasks include basin inspections, weekly presentations, land surveying, overseeing construction projects, communicating with residents and property owners, grease interceptor inspections, utilities engineering designs, etc.At this internship, I also was able to observe the daily duties of full-time civil engineers while taking notes and learning from what they do on a daily basis. This internship secured my interest in being a successful civil engineer in the future.

I had to communicate with students to set up 1–2-hour appointments to go over example problems, difficult physics concepts, test preparation, etc. I learned from this experience by revisiting concepts and mastering them in order to teach them to other students.
