Having worked in the healthcare industry for nearly 15 years, I have a wealth of experience in many areas of my discipline. I’ve spent time in community care, acute medicine and mental health recovery services, both within the NHS and private sector.My strengths lie in developing strong and trusting relationships with both clients and key stakeholders or service providers, analytical skills and problem solving, leadership and mentorship and being ethically conscious.My key responsibilities are:- Navigating complex caseloads, prioritising client needs and creating structured plans for each individual, so that they can achieve their own personal goals.- Collaborating with medical professionals including GPs, consultants, CPNs, social workers and psychiatrists.- Providing the very best one-to-one support with individuals from all backgrounds with learning difficulties, mental health illnesses and more.- Analysing risk, measuring changes in behaviour or changes in circumstances and evaluating the best route forward on a case-by-case basis.- Supporting individuals with budgets and finances and assisting with correspondence where required.- Lending advice and mentorship to junior key workers who are beginning their careers in healthcare.- Building trusting relationships through transparency, equality and integrity, and a passion for my role in helping people and families in need to thrive.- Establishing myself as a team player who uplifts spirit, exercises patience and encourages a culture of learning, knowledge-sharing and emotional support between colleagues.
