Tasked with the research and development of a commercially viable and financially sustainable fan forum event in the UK. My responsibilities have included liaising with different key stakeholders, conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis with the core MLB fan base in UK to design and develop a strategy for such an event. Presenting recommendations on the most financially sustainable and commercial option.

Global Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Finance.

• Responsible for the full P&L on all of my projects, managing budgets and ensuring key targets are hit consistently achieving my top target of 110% contribution • Responsible for writing the strategic business and marketing plans for each project and ensuring the strategy was in line with customer needs• Project Managed team of 4 people and I worked closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing to ensure every project hit its target and came well within budgeted revenue • Tasked with researching, sourcing and launching new business opportunities and engaging with key accounts and the right stakeholders to ensure each project was a success • Prepared and pitched company presentations to oil ministers and CEOs throughout EMEA region• Assisted NOCs and their senior management on strategic challenges • Writing Marketing and Sales Briefs and briefing respective teams• Chaired weekly project meetings with marketing and sales teams

• Via networking and face to face meetings successfully built trusted business relationships with the CEOs and VPs of all major NOCs within the Middle East as well as government ministers • In charge of strategy, planning, structuring, executing and managing all of the companies projects based in the Middle East • Organised and chaired advisory board strategy meetings with C level management of all major NOCs, IOCs and their clients throughout the Middle East, Africa and Asia

• Responsible for producing and managing niche industry specific conferences for the oil & gas industry. • Had complete control of every project from start to finish, including: the concept, the research, the agenda writing, the speaker acquisition, the event management on location, B2B sponsorship and delegate sales, as well as building and maintaining the website, writing the marketing and e-blast copy and creating logos and designs with the design team.

• Led and trained a team of night traders in the head office of South Africa’s leading sports betting and gaming company• Created innovative products and promotions surrounding special sporting events such as Ryder Cup, 2012 Football World Cup and Super Bowl• Assisted Managing Director with creative marketing strategy to drive client growth, retention and brand value• Regularly traded live on a number of sports including football, tennis, rugby, golf and horse racing
