A passionate Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer with a background in the design and execution of projects in the maritime and minerals processing sectors. I have an interest in both the detailed technical and high-level managerial aspects of the engineering, manufacturing and professional services industries and deliberately seek out responsibilities and challenges that will broaden my experience. I currently work with the management team of a world renowned Australian manufacturing business to drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. I also focus on a portfolio of ~30 marine equipment supply projects for luxury, commercial and defence vessel fitout. This involves leading a highly experienced production team of 20 specialising in the machining, fabrication and assembly of this equipment.In my past, I witnessed the complete EPC project lifecycle from study and pre-development works through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover. This experience was gained primarily in the roles of Mechanical design and site engineer on the Carrapateena Copper Project, Mt Owen Flotation Project and the Mantoverde Development Project.I appreciate the importance of people and relationships in the success of projects and business and consider myself a self-aware professional with a desire to one day lead in the engineering, manufacturing and professional services space.
