I started my professional career as a chef working through various hotels, clubs and resturants in the premium produce renown state of Tasmania. Cookery lead me into functions and events across the globe working major events such as Rugby World Cup, V8 Supercars, Cricket World Cup, Olympic Games. With a keen interest in business operations i progressed with Spotless from Site Manager at Caburys Claremont, to a State Operations Manager with contracts including Catering, Security, Facilities Management, Commercial cleaning in tertiary education, heavy industry, government and aged care facilities. The State Operations Manager role and major events lead to responsibility for daily revenue in excess of 2mil Aud and workforces up to 670 employees. Opening and operating my own business allowed me to consolidate my large organisation education. Growing a start up small business allowed me to design and train my own team and learn direct customer relationship development. My business was sucessfully grown into a sustainable, busy, fun entity which concluded in a profitable sale and a great learning experience. Changing industry into food manufacturing and starting to learn the business from an entry level position rounded and reinforced my management and team building skills. After three sucessful years of proven financial performance I moved into the role of Operations Manager. Pure Foods Tasmania has allowed me to manage and grow multiple businesses culminating in our listing on the ASX in April 2020.
