While at Starbucks, I took on a number of roles outside my job description as a barista. I assisted with the selection, onboarding, and training of new hires.I was tasked with developing a "Green" initiative at my store. I created a recycling program that cuts down on hundreds of pounds of waste each week. I also developed lucrative marketing strategies. The most successful was keeping our stores open during Black Friday. This procedure is still in place today.
