My love of data is exceeded only by my love of people. I strive to constantly hone my technical skill set and deepen my ability to connect with those closest to me. While I'm intellectually humble and ambitious, not afraid to say "I don't know" and eager to put in the time to figure it out, my strongest expertise is in my ability to meet people where they are and create an environment that allows for our individual strengths to shine, building amazingly elegant products that would be impossible to accomplish alone.I’m equally comfortable cranking out SQL code for hours on end and leading project meetings that participants genuinely look forward to. I strive for both the highest quality of technical execution and fostering a professional culture that’s fun, collaborative, and supportive. My aim is to simplify data flows and enable intelligent, data informed decisions, but it’s my ability truly engage with the people I spend every working day with that makes me so effective at what I do.While I’m deeply proud of the technical work I’ve performed in my career, it’s the close relationships I’ve developed with my colleagues that have provided the most personal fulfillment. I firmly believe that for my team and organization to be successful, it’s absolutely crucial to connect with the people I work with for 40+ hours a week - to understand their backgrounds, interests, and motivations and care for them on both a professional and human level. It’s that level of understanding, care, and commitment to my coworkers that drives everything I do in my career. I constantly ask myself “What can I do to make my colleagues' work easier and make my team one that everyone is genuinely excited to be a part of?”.
