I am responsible for assisting Finance Analysts by conducting bottom-up research for stocks, analyzing equities, conducting investment research, evaluating equity investments, and generating proprietary reports within the technology sector. I produce written research reports and support findings with financial models, including DCFs and DCMs. I present investment recommendations to a team of Portfolio Managers. I monitor existing equities including reading earnings reports and update the group quarterly on our investment thesis. I maintain detailed meeting notes and various screens to generate investment ideas.

I managed client accounts to meet their specific investment objectives. I frequently collaborated with Sales, Operations and Research departments to ensure proper execution of client portfolios. I also successfully completed several projects for various teams including a stock valuation project for the Research Department that resulted in my promotion to an Equity Research Associate.

I processed equity and credit financial transactions in both the international and domestic market for institutional clients around the world. My duties include researching trade information as well as communicating problems with the investment managers, partnering with Trade Processing team to identify problematic trades and handled workload during peak trading time. I was also a member of the revisions team that handled failed financial trades in the international market e.g., buying stocks/bonds, and fixed dozens of failed trades daily so clients and market participants achieved their desired outcome.

Oversaw multiple six-figure to million dollar commercial projects where we were replacing or refitting heating systems that were either steam or hot water. I managed anywhere from 3 to 6 union pipe fitters and ensured that all projects had adequate material on site and were completed on schedule and on budget.

I covered both the UMass football and men's basketball team. My duties included providing game previews and recaps along with features about special events and players. I coordinated with the UMass editor and fellow contributors of other schools to cover teams effectively. I have developed a fast paced work ethic along with time management skills to meet deadlines.
