Max Wertheim graduated from University of South Florida with a degree in Communication. A major in communication has lead Max to better understand the nature of human communication and how to communicate information effectively. This major has helped Max learn how to deliver messages across an audience or an individual. Communication has been essential in Max’s work as a financial officer in a nonprofit called, Tampa Bay Improv Community. Tampa Bay Improv Community, originally Post Dinner Conversation is a public charity that that brings improvisation performance and play to the local community. Max started improv in Tampa three years ago and performs at Unscripted Theater in St. Petersburg. Max loves performing onstage and has worked as a performer in a show at Busch Gardens called, Madagascar: Operations Vacation. Every weekend before the improv shows start, Max is running around a soccer field. Max is not only a soccer player but is also a soccer referee and has been officiating soccer for over 5 years. Max has officiated in Sarasota, Tampa, and Orlando working tournaments, high school, and adult leagues.
