About Max Bügler

In meiner akademischen Laufbahn habe ich mich zunächst mit technischer Optik, dann mit Laserphysik und schließlich mit Laserschwellwerten beschäftigt. Nach dem Abschluss der Diplomarbeit mit dem Titel "Untersuchungen des optischen Gewinns in Gruppe-III Nitriden", hat sich der Schwerpunkt meiner Arbeit von der Charakterisierung epitaktischer Halbleiterschichten hin zum Wachstum solcher Materialien verschoben. Im Rahmen meiner Promotion hatte ich die Möglichkeit für 3 Jahre nach Atlanta, in die USA zu gehen, um an der Georgia State University eine Anlage für das Wachstum von InN und InGaN bei hohen Drücken (HPCVD) zu erweitern. Nach der erfolgreichen Erweiterung untersuchte ich dort noch zwei Jahre die gewachsenen Proben auf ihre strukturellen und optischen Eigenschaften. Zurück in Berlin habe ich meine Dissertation mit dem Titel "Optical and structural properties of Indium-Nitride epilayers and their growth by High-Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition" geschrieben und erfolgreich verteidigt.Nach dem Verlassen der akademischen Forschung bot sich die Chance im Bereich der Messtechnik und Datenanalyse als Consultant und Projektmanager Erfahrung zu sammeln. Im Verlauf des Projektes verschob sich der Schwerpunkt zunehmend auf die Abbildung und Optimierung der zugehörigen Geschäftsprozesse. Nach dieser durchaus interessanten Erfahrung entschied ich mich, mich wieder verstärkt in den wissenschaftlichen und technischen Bereich zu orientieren. In der folge habe ich mich entschieden, meine Unternehmung auslaufen zu lassen und eine Stelle bei der Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin als Applications Specialist für Mikro-Röntgenfluoreszenz anzutreten. Nach viereinhalb Jahren in dieser Funktion, möchte ich mich nun gerne weiterentwickeln. Da ich sowohl im Rahmen der Tätigkeit als Consultant, als auch während der Tätigkeit bei der Bruker Nano GmbH 50% der Zeit auf Reisen war, möchte ich den Anteil doch etwas reduzieren. Grundsätzlich bin ich aber weiterhin bereit dienstlich zu reisen.
