Industrial Experience:Year in Industry Placement with Cambridge Consultants September 2019 - July 2020Two 8-week summer placements with Cambridge Consultants Summer 2021 and Summer 2022Experience acquired:- Schematic and PCB design: Worked on multiple projects using Altium to design both schematics andPCB layouts. Highlights included creating a multiple-board design from scratch for a wearable healthmonitor for newborns.- Experience with test equipment, debugging procedures: Used test equipment to carry outverification testing and environmental testing. Wrote python scripts to interface with test equipment inorder to log data. Used LTspice to compare real and expected circuit performance.- Involvement in developing a microservices architecture: Learnt how to integrate a new set ofArduino-based sensors into an existing codebase using gRPC.- Documentation: Produced professional documents for test plans, reports and risk assessments
