Engaged as a key member in Kontur's "Speech Lab" project enhancing call center operations through advanced Speech Recognition (ASR) technology. Developed deep machine learning models for recognition of poor-quality speech recordings, handling both offline and real-time scenarios with significant volumes of data processing. Instrumental in improving the key Word Error Rate (WER) metric of the production model from 33.8% down to 23.8%. This enhancement was strongly favored during A/B tests with Call Center managers and analysts and garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback. Employed cutting-edge ASR technologies, which facilitated more precise analytics and insights for business decision-making. Worked closely with a cross-functional team to achieve these milestones.
