I believe that the arts are vital to our diverse communities. It is deeply rewarding to connect donors and advocates with opportunities to support and engage with arts organizations in ways that align with their interests. As my lifelong passion has been classical music, I am thrilled to be part of the development team at the San Francisco Symphony.A second-generation French Horn graduate of Juilliard, I went on to play in the Hong Kong Philharmonic for 7 years, also chairing the Players’ Committee. Returning to NYC to earn a Master's in Arts Administration at Columbia, I began my fundraising career at the Metropolitan Opera in institutional and individual giving. As VP of Development at the historic State Theatre New Jersey, I led a team of five to increase all areas of contributed revenue to support a bold five-year strategic plan - including special events, a major capital campaign, launching a Business Council and reviving Advisory Council - as well as overseeing Board relationships and growth. My subsequent role was in major gifts at the New York Philharmonic. My interests are in building sustainable models for nonprofit performing arts organizations - including audience engagement, arts access, and broader cultural policy issues. I love to travel internationally, visit local markets and historic/heritage sites, and take my camera to try to see and experience the world from different perspectives. I was honored to be recognized as a 2018 Top 25 Brand Builder by Leading Women Entrepreneurs. As Gustav Mahler once said, “A symphony must be like the world. It must contain everything.”
