I work as part of a close-knit team to take care of children in before-school, after-school and vacation care. The safety and wellbeing of children is my first priority and I take great care to ensure my practice is in line with child safety standards and laws. Additionally, I work with students from a diverse range of backgrounds, and frequently work one-on-one with children with additional needs, supporting not only their safety and wellbeing but also their inclusion and social development.

As a shift manager, I am responsible for the delegation of tasks to staff members, assisting with interviewing and overseeing the training of new staff, liaising with the manager to ensure positive customer and staff experiences, dealing with prospective customers, opening and closing the venue, and writing incident and end-of-day reports. As a party host, I am the face of the party. I am tasked with creating a fun and energetic atmosphere that caters to different age groups, cultures, needs and interests. Throughout the party, I facepaint, teach dances, serve food, run party games and activities all while ensuring the safety of the children and that the party flows smoothly and finishes on time. I also work closely with both parents and children to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

My team planned and executed the decoration, running and documentation (photos, videos, reports to managers) of the Commbank O'Week stall at Monash University, garnering over 6000 sign-ups and being awarded the coveted title of 'Best Team 2019'. Out of all the teams across Australia; our team was selected as the 'Best Team' based on commendations from the branch representatives and regional marketing managers we worked with, for our team's 'collaboration, organisational skills, adaptability and resilience' and for being 'on top of every single aspect of the campaign.' We were also awarded a bonus for what our campaign manager described as 'by far the best photos and videos...from this year’s campaign'.
