I am a highly motivated individual with a passion for continuous learning, regardless of the complexity of the subject. My academic journey began at Northern Illinois University (NIU) where being a STEM student taught me the true meaning of perseverance. Despite numerous obstacles, my dedication and determination enabled me to overcome many challenges and driving me to work even harder. During my time at NIU, I was actively involved in biological research and co-authored an article through a genetics class. I excelled in an honors molecular biology course and in my first year, was recognized for maintaining a GPA of at least a 3.0, which I continued to do so until graduation. My enthusiasm and passion for science, particularly in chemistry and biology, is unwavering, which aspires me to secure a position in those fields of study. Not only did my academic journey teach me how to face numerous challenges, it also taught me the importance of working hard and succeeding in what I love.
