Casa Esperanza is a club at UC Berkeley to support women and children victims of domestic abuse. As VP of Finance, I monitored club finances, facilitated reimbursements, budgeted for events and activities, and attended weekly office meetings. In 2022, I was secretary, in which I sent weekly emails to members of the club to inform and remind about activities, assisted officers in their duties, and also partook in weekly officer meetings.

Worked under Project GRFT regarding the use of rice calluses to administer HIV medication through gene gun use. Learned wet lab etiquette and procedures, grew and monitored rice calluses, assisted in tracking progress of project, participated in weekly meetings with the team, reached out to other scientists in the field to gain insight on the subject, observed the development of the gene gun.
