Hello, My Name is Maya, I'm a third year at Oregon State University, senior standing, majoring in general economics. I am looking for a part-time internship or job opportunity that will provide me with hands on experience within the field. This spring I will be graduating, and currently, I am looking for a position that will offer me experience with data analytics or consulting. During my first year of college, I applied for a position at OSU's student news paper, The Daily Barometer. My experience writing for the paper provided my with invaluable skills, such as the ability to synthesize research into a concise and engaging form, communicate efficiently, meet tight deadlines, and work in a team environment. In high school, I also worked at McDonalds for a couple months, which taught me how to work under pressure in a fast paced environment, as well as how to work effectively with my crew. Although I do not have any work experience within the field, I am eager to learn new skills and get involved as soon as possible! As of now my goal is to gain more connections within the field and learn more about career opportunities through experience.
