Professor-nominated position to support students and aid instructors in providing feedback and advice on course assignments.

Collaborated in the Built Environment and Health Group to collect data via virtual audits of neighborhood conditions to characterize knowledge of potential linkages between nightlife and alcohol-serving establishments with pedestrian safety. Constructed ~2700 audits to analyze characteristics of simulated locations in the United States. Participated in weekly meetings to address error in the data collection and auditing processes.

Thrived in a science communication-oriented role focused on engaging thousands of daily visitors in museum halls in science conversations surrounding natural history, ecology, and evolution topics. Identified effective modes of visitor engagement and strategies in the informal education space. Conducted academic research to author a facilitator’s guide for use in the Hall of Human Origins.

Founding and spearheading the Learning Corner initiative, where pieces are designed to make the world of energy more approachable for readers of a general (non-technical) audience. Through this role, I wrote well-written and approachable pieces around topics related to the energy transition, and produced multiple articles per publishing cycle.

Recipient of a 2022 Bieler Undergraduate Research Award through McGill's Natural Resource Sciences department. Organized and optimized a comprehensive dataset of 12,000+ publications to prepare a comparative literature review of Arctic research trends from the early 2000s to present. Synthesized findings around trends with descriptive statistics, data visualization (word clouds), and presentation (PowerPoint). Facilitated weekly workshop discussions surrounding contemporary issues in the Arctic.

As a volunteer with Repair the World's Serve the Moment program, I interned with Ending Mass Incarceration (Harlem Chapter) to research and compile an Excel inventory of initiatives of faith-based organizations in New York with work in social justice, specifically re-entry. In addition to my internship with my host organization, I volunteered with community initiatives such as soup kitchens and food deliveries to community members in need.
