While previously working as a seamstress for Taylor in 2020, I have recently joined her team again as her Design Assistant. Here I am currently working on digitizing all of Taylors designs and getting them into a new PLM system. This includes making technical illustrations, creating BOMs, and adding material information for each style. Together, Taylor and I work on creating color stories for upcoming seasons and I reach out to vendors about fabric details. Occasionally, I will help out in the sewing studio by creating patterns for new designs, cutting out orders and sometimes helping the seamstresses sew when we have a lot of orders come in.

At Souvenir Coffee Company, I work as a barista. Throughout the week I am responsible for opening and closing the shop. During a shift, I count drawer money, work the register while simultaneously making drinks. Other tasks include making the pre-made drinks and food when needed and keeping the shop clean and organized. I also enjoy speaking with the local customers and getting to know the regulars.

Working as a shop monitor at CCA in the Soft lab was a wonderful experience. On a day to day basis, I would clean up the studios, provide maintenance for all industrial sewing machines, and help non-fashion students with their projects. Students would come in having technical questions about what fabrics would be best suited and how to sew their projects. Together, we would figure out how to make their vision come true.

At Taylor Jay, I worked directly with Taylor Jay herself, assisting her in the design process fromconception to production. I was responsible for organizing and maintaining the work area as well ascutting out fabric to be sewn, and sewing full garments to fulfill orders to be sold in the store. I also drafted patterns and produced samples, along with hundreds of masks for TJ customers and hospital workers.

Travel with company to new locations to set up alzheimer's buildings. Assist with the interior design, set up, and placement of furniture and decorations. Work with installation crew to make sure the building is fully completed by the end of the week. Decorate curio cabinets with variety of antiques to be displayed through the halls of the buildings.
