• CSE 221 / Fall 2024: Graduate Operating Systems. This course explores computer software system structures with a focus on design principles. It covers key structuring techniques and their application in both historical and modern systems.

• Built an end-to-end real-time pagination feature for a high-volume data search service in Java using Apache Lucene. Reduced search load times by 80%, significantly improving the system performance and user experience across the platform.

• CSE 141L / Spring 2024: Introduction to Computer Architecture Lab. This course offers a hands-on computer architecture project aiming to familiarize students with instruction set architecture, design of a processor, and control and memory systems, and I/O systems. We design a complete special-purpose processor from grounds up.• CSE 142L / Winter 2024: Computer Architecture (from a Software Perspective) Lab. This course provides hands-on experience in using the features of modern CPUs to increase the performance and efficiency of programs.

• Implemented a C# authentication adapter for ADFS, enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) for 3,000+ employees. Improved security by supporting customizable workflows, now used firm-wide as the primary authentication system.• Benchmarked and documented the performance of on-prem Kubernetes cluster against the in-house cluster management system. Insights enabled better decision-making, and helped establish a post-release verification framework for the cluster.• Led development of a Python-based responsive web app for on-call management, secured with OIDC, and deployed on Kubernetes. Streamlined scheduling for 300+ employees and 20+ services, reducing management overhead and improving team coordination.• Developed a C# based web proxy for providing fine-grained authorization to external authentication APIs and streamlined user/device management workflows for 100+ members of the Helpdesk team.• Built an ETL pipeline in Python which processes 1M records daily to monitor EULA compliance of installed software.

• Addressed performance anomalies observed in Roadrunner (NVIDIA’s Autonomous Driving application) during driving which affects safety and in-car driving experience by identifying, tracking, and addressing end-to-end latency spikes.

• Designed and developed a highly scalable, centralized notification service of distributed nature from scratch, which abstracted all notification channels (like Email, Slack), helping teams get rid of the overhead of implementing notification modules and allowing users to set per-application personal preferences. Used by 50+ teams, and more than 1 million notifications have been sent till date. Used React, Redux for frontend; Java, SpringBoot and JUnit5 for backend, and Apache Kafka as middleware.

• As part of the Hexagon Mining team, worked on the HxGN MineOperate Asset Health product which is designed as a system of microservices to monitor the state of equipment in the fields for their efficient operation.• Developed two microservices in C++ for reading sensor data from mining equipment, enabling real-time actionable alerts. Increased equipment uptime by 50%, significantly improving operational efficiency and reducing downtime costs
