Working as a Software Engineer Specialist in strategic topics related to the Fintech company's context.Actively contributing to the foundation of a financial transaction processor in the credit card issuer's context, focusing on real time processing. The main objectives include empowering the architecture of applications to address the requirements arising from the implementation and expansion of the company in this context. Additionally, there is a focus on efficiently integrating with legacy systems that make up the ecosystem of digital payment methods.I am working on applications written in Java with jPOS and Spring Boot, being monitored through Splunk and using the Postgres database, with pipelines through GitLab CI/CD.The entire infrastructure is running on AWS (EC2, EKS, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Cognito, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM).

Bit55 was a fintech startup that aimed to build a credit card processing operation for the Bs2 bank. As a member of a compact and multifunctional team, given the startup context, I made significant contributions to the successful development of this initiative, playing a crucial role in the project's progress and evolution.Our main challenge was to establish an operation entirely based on cloud processing, an atypical approach considering the communication with card network systems, the use of Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and card embossing. Additionally, we faced the complexity of integrating our systems with Bs2 bank, which was part of the authorization workflow.I worked as a Software Engineer, designing and implementing distributed applications for onboarding and real-time processing of financial transactions. I utilized technologies such as Java (JAX-RS, Hibernate), Spring Boot, jPOS, PostgreSQL, REST APIs (with OpenAPI), Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and AWS as the cloud provider.

When taking on the technical leadership of a new team, composed of four members, the team's responsibility was to create a layer of REST APIs to abstract and expose services from an acquirer processor, specifically the Sicoob bank processors: Sipag 1.0 and 2.0.The team already had a solid technical level, consisting of experienced members with significant domain knowledge. As a leader, brought elements of previous experience, maintained control over technical decisions, collaborated with the Product Owner in creating the roadmap, and established internal coding guidelines. Additionally, another team member and I conducted thorough reviews of pull requests.In addition to assuming the leadership role, I acted as a Software Engineer, actively participating in the development of microservices in Java with Spring Boot, running in containers on OpenShift, exposing REST APIs. This allowed clients to consume essential information in the acquirer domain, such as proposals, accreditation, sales, anticipations, schedules, settlements, and reports.Key technologies involved, oauth2, mTLS, the Spring Boot framework, containers, the use of Redis for caching and documentation through Swagger (OpenAPI).

During my technical leadership of the acquirer real time authorization system team, composed of five members, the primary mission was to drive the rapidly growing acquiring operation, ensuring reliability and efficiency. As a leader, I took control of technical decisions and actively participated in developing the roadmap in collaboration with the team's Product Owner. Additionally, I crafted internal coding guidelines. I also conducted thorough pull request reviews.We went above and beyond by establishing a culture of continuous support for less experienced members, providing guidance in both group meetings and individual sessions, thus fostering an environment conducive to development and learning.Additionally, I played the role of Software Engineer, working on the analysis and implementation of mandates for card networks: MasterCard, Visa, and Elo.I highlight significant milestones during my leadership, including the successful integration of the authorization system with the proprietary POS solution of the acquiring entity Sipag (previously outsourced), certification processes with Visa and Elo, and strategic expansion through integration with new acquiring partners such as Global, Vero, Stone, PagSeguro, and BNDES.

I was part of a team responsible for starting the construction of a system to authorize the acquirer's real time transactions, starting the processing of Sipag 2.0 acquiring from Sicoob.We certify with the MasterCard and certified with the main acquirers from Brazil, in the Van and Full models (Rede, Cielo, Software Express, GetNet).In this project, Java technologies were used with JPA Hibernate, Oracle database and the framework for building jPOS financial systems.

I joined the company in a department responsible for managing a variety of systems in the scope of financial transaction processing.Due to the company's policy, I rotated through different teams with the aim of deepening my understanding of the main areas of operation within this department.I worked on maintenance for various types of systems:- Credit card issuer system (Base 1) using Java language and Oracle/PLSQL database with ISO8583 protocol- Financial transaction monitoring system using Java language with EJB component and Oracle database, and JSF (with FusionCharts for dashboards)- Batch processing system (Base 2) using Java language and internal frameworks for handling batch files
