I am a husband, a father of three and the youngest of three raised in the heart of the midwestern United States. I am inquisitive by nature and have a lot of time for people who know things that I do not. I’d much rather listen to you and learn but I do love a great conversation. I have a creative itch that I scratch by consuming and creating music, writing and visual arts. Like others in the aviation industry, I can recount the days of my youth spent just off the edge of my local airport’s property watching planes takeoff and land just out of my reach. I gravitated toward a formal education in public speaking and debate which has served me well, as preparation and planning are key to leadership, persuasion and successful execution. In my career as a business leader I have been fortunate to visit hundreds of airports on six continents which has led to a deep respect for the aviation industry and for the world’s diverse cultures. I tend to thrive in dynamic environments. As a center-brained person, the adage that “once you’ve seen one airport, you’ve seen one airport” is exactly what makes me feel at home when helping industry friends solve problems. I believe at my core, that every individual brings unique value to successful outcomes and that successful outcomes are more often driven by a diverse set of skills. I offer critical thinking, creativity, attention to detail and execution.
